You may wish to publicly say a wedding prayer together as a couple, or ask your wedding officiant or a special guest to say a special prayer for you during the ceremony. You of course may remain standing, or as some couples prefer you may wish to kneel during a wedding prayer. A Benediction often brings closure and a blessing to the end of the wedding ceremony.
Dream Weddings Canada would be pleased to serve you in your heritage or traditions as they relate to prayers and benedictions. Please feel free to let your wedding officiant know as you customize your ceremony.

“Lord, behold our family here assembled. We thank you for this place in which we dwell, for the love that unites us, for the peace accorded us this day, for the hope with which we expect the morrow, for the health, the work, the food, and the bright skies that make our lives delightful; for our friends in all parts of the earth.”
“You are now wed. May you always remain sweethearts, helpmates, and friends. May your life together be full of kindness and understanding, thoughtfulness and rejoicing. May the years bring you happiness and contentment. May you enter into each others sorrow by sympathy, into each others joy with gladness, Into each others hope with faith and trust, Into each others need with the sure presence of love, Into each others lives with enthusiasm and embracing.”
